I have focussed in this section of our case histories on Pre-menstrual tension, fertility problems and menopause. I have dedicated much of my life to helping women with the many difficulties encountered with riding the "cycles of life". For men who by and large have a pretty steady hormonal ride, it is difficult to visualise the difficulties intrinsic in "riding" a cycle that goes up and down in level often without warning.Case 1
Mrs R of Checkendon (Age 48)
Long history of P.M.T. from teenager, no improvement from having children - the level of mood swings generated by her hormonal shifts had created great personal and family stress. Acupuncture and homoeopathy have made a great difference to her life, with occasional top-ups treatments she is at least 90% better.
Case 2
Mrs S of Basingstoke (Age 25)
I do a lot of work in the area of fertility, this lady had no apparent reason for being unable to conceive, all areas appeared alright, husband's sperm count, her ovulation etc. By Electro-dermal testing, I found a virus residue, from the flu, had "blocked" her ovaries from fully functioning. Homoeopathy helped to clear that and acupuncture to follow re-balanced the system and 8 weeks later the first of two children was conceived.
Case 3
Mrs W of Finchampstead (Age 61)
I also work with the other end of the hormonal spectrum, the menopause, for some women a complete nightmare, as for this lady. Hot flushes, night sweats, painful infrequent periods, skin dryness and cyclical depression. "Allergic" to HRT which she had tried twice. Treatment was with acupuncture, homoepathy, vitamins and minerals. Over the course of 4 months the system gradually balanced and all areas calmed. I now treat once a month to "hold" the balance in place.
